2021托福口語(yǔ)最新出題趨勢(shì)分析與總結(jié)

暑假目前已經(jīng)過(guò)半,大家的托福備考進(jìn)行得如何了呢?這里要先提醒一句:暑期能夠攻下任何一門(mén)考試,秋季到年底的申請(qǐng)就會(huì)從容許多,否則各位將不得不陷入多線作戰(zhàn)的境地(考試、文書(shū)、學(xué)校學(xué)業(yè)或工作壓力)。
相信到了這會(huì)兒,大家的聽(tīng)力和閱讀都已經(jīng)有了一定的基礎(chǔ),至少其中一門(mén)(大概率是閱讀)應(yīng)該也拿到了高分,但口語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作還是不少人的痛——二十出頭的分?jǐn)?shù),不管是在夢(mèng)校的要求,或者是對(duì)出國(guó)之后的交流,都算得上障礙。更讓人頭痛的,是現(xiàn)在的口語(yǔ)、寫(xiě)作題目還呈現(xiàn)出“更加具體,更難提前準(zhǔn)備”的趨勢(shì)。今天就來(lái)跟大家聊幾個(gè)明顯的趨勢(shì),希望對(duì)大家之后的備考有所幫助!
趨勢(shì)1:題目加長(zhǎng)

學(xué)生做社區(qū)服務(wù)好不好?
To promote academic success, your university is considering a new policy that would limit the number of hours per week that students can spend working at university jobs. Do you think this is a good idea?
要不要限制學(xué)生每周做社區(qū)服務(wù)的時(shí)間來(lái)幫助他們提高成績(jī)?
這兩個(gè)題目都是和community service相關(guān),但第一個(gè)問(wèn)題可以用community service的好處來(lái)作答,而第二個(gè)問(wèn)題就不能生搬硬套了,因?yàn)樗泳唧w,此時(shí)我們需要說(shuō)明的就是community service的好處和time for studying之間的平衡或者取舍,需要用到的reasoning更復(fù)雜,涉及到的討論也會(huì)更具體(比如時(shí)間),很顯然,難度是增加了的。所以,提醒大家注意,獨(dú)立口語(yǔ)的準(zhǔn)備一定要以實(shí)力為主,而不是靠背段子或者萬(wàn)能理由。背誦肯定是有用的,但全靠背誦是靠不住的。

趨勢(shì)2:場(chǎng)景變換

Imagine that your university has decided to allow the general public to make full use of the university library. For a small yearly fee, non student members of the community will be able to check out books and other materials or use them in the library. Do you think this is a good idea? Explain why or why not.
讓周?chē)鐓^(qū)的人和學(xué)生們共享館藏書(shū)籍,他們會(huì)被收取少量的年費(fèi)。你同意嗎?
這兩個(gè)題目就屬于話(huà)題不同,但邏輯類(lèi)似。其中無(wú)論是share the classrooms還是share the collection in the library都可以用相同的理由來(lái)回答,即學(xué)生已經(jīng)覺(jué)得很多東西不那么easily available了,讓人來(lái)share只會(huì)讓一切變得更糟(will only make the situation worse)。但是,這兩題也有不一樣的細(xì)節(jié)需要討論,比如citizens的考試和作業(yè),以及citizens所交納的yearly fees,這也是難點(diǎn)所在。恐怕也不是同學(xué)們平時(shí)準(zhǔn)備過(guò)的內(nèi)容。因此,提醒大家一定要在考前看機(jī)經(jīng)回憶,了解最近出的題目都問(wèn)了哪些unexpected stuff。
趨勢(shì)3:子母集
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People can learn much more from success than from failure.
人們從成功中學(xué)到遠(yuǎn)比從失敗中學(xué)到的多嗎?
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The best way to teach children how to behave is to praise their good behavior rather than to criticize their bad behavior.
家長(zhǎng)教育孩子的最佳方式是夸獎(jiǎng)而非批評(píng)嗎?
這兩個(gè)題目,其實(shí)是非常類(lèi)似的。Why? 因?yàn)樽约旱膅ood behavior被夸獎(jiǎng),對(duì)于孩子們來(lái)說(shuō),就是一種success;而如果自己的bad behavior被父母批評(píng),對(duì)于孩子們來(lái)說(shuō),也不失為一種failure。區(qū)別在于,如果是回答第一個(gè)題目,我們恐怕不會(huì)舉“孩子因?yàn)間ood behavior而被家長(zhǎng)夸獎(jiǎng)”這么復(fù)雜的例子,說(shuō)點(diǎn)別的應(yīng)該更省時(shí)間,也就能花更多的時(shí)間去做reasoning and explanation(這恰恰是托福考試的關(guān)鍵),然而如果被問(wèn)到第二個(gè)問(wèn)題,我們就需要話(huà)更多的時(shí)間來(lái)陳述facts,這個(gè)就對(duì)大家的語(yǔ)速有不小的考驗(yàn)。我們朗思教育為大家開(kāi)設(shè)口語(yǔ)訓(xùn)練課,帶著各位練習(xí)跟讀,一邊提高語(yǔ)速,一邊保證語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)的質(zhì)量。祝各位同學(xué)們考試順利!
