在托福考試當中，每個詞都認識，但就是聽不懂？聽力對話模擬的是學生在美國大學校園當中會碰到的生活和學術場景，在對話里面或多或少會有一些大家從來沒有接觸過的口語化表達。
1. don’t sell yourself short
Student：
But…so they are trying to predict if the shows are gonna succeed or fail, right, based on students’ opinions? Why would they care what we think?
Professor ：
Hey, don’t sell yourself short. People your age are a very attractive market for advertisers who promote their products on television. (TPO18C2)
