這個月三選一類的題目較多，大家不要忘記比較類題型的核心要點(diǎn)：比較對象一個都不能少。但今天我們分析重點(diǎn)的是一道出現(xiàn)頻率相對較低、但偏題頻率較高的一道一般類獨(dú)立寫作題。2021年3月托福寫作真題：關(guān)鍵詞要看清。

首先我們來認(rèn)識一下這道題。

Rapid growth in recent years in cities is mostly a positive development to society.

乍一看是不是覺得很普通，普通到讓我們瞬間信心大增？城市近些年來的迅速增長對于社會大體來說是不是一件積極的好事？似乎不論是同意還是反對都有很多理由關(guān)鍵詞可以脫口而出：經(jīng)濟(jì)、科技、教育、環(huán)境、健康……

但能迅速想到關(guān)鍵詞并不一定意味著你能夠輕松搞定這道題。首先我們來看一下兩個中文段落，你覺得哪個版本更適合這道題呢？

版本1
城市發(fā)展會使空氣質(zhì)量惡化。一方面，城市擠滿了高樓大廈，這些大廈會侵占原本可以用來綠化的區(qū)域。因此綠色植物對空氣的凈化作用難以發(fā)揮，從而會導(dǎo)致城市空氣質(zhì)量下降。另一方面，城市中私家車、巴士等交通數(shù)量龐大，每天都會排放成千上萬噸尾氣，這無疑會進(jìn)一步降低城市的空氣質(zhì)量。……

版本2
城市的迅速發(fā)展會使空氣質(zhì)量惡化。一方面，城市的擴(kuò)張需要建設(shè)很多辦公空間，這導(dǎo)致城市會被更多高樓大廈擠滿。而且，過快的發(fā)展速度很可能會導(dǎo)致綠化工程的速度跟不上，因此綠色植物對空氣的凈化作用難以發(fā)揮，從而會導(dǎo)致城市空氣質(zhì)量下降。另一方面，過快的城市發(fā)展會導(dǎo)致市中心房價陡增，人們無法負(fù)擔(dān)從而紛紛逃往較偏遠(yuǎn)的郊區(qū)，因而上下班通勤、日常出行都會更依賴私家車、巴士等交通工具，which會排放成千上萬噸尾氣，這無疑會進(jìn)一步降低城市的空氣質(zhì)量。……

乍一看這兩個版本區(qū)別不大，但是比較之下我們會發(fā)現(xiàn)版本2有充分回應(yīng)題干中的“rapid growth”，版本1其實(shí)論證的是“城市中國空氣質(zhì)量很糟糕。”

所以審題一定要看清關(guān)鍵詞，再簡短的題干也不要掉以輕心。
